THE GREAT GIF BATTLE: ROUND TWO

They still tell great tales about the last GIF battle with songs and praise ringing throughout the great halls...but alas, the battle is not over! We are excited to announce Round Two of our on-going GIF battles and this time, it's gonna be a DOOZY!

PIZZA has recently forged a partnership and teamed up with the 1UP-CARTEL crew. In the spirit of our great alliance with @flauwy and his epic project, we want you to bring us the dopest partnership GIFs you can create!

Contest submission closes Friday 3/11 at 11:59pm PST.

Prizes

1st: $65 Value PIZZA/ONEUP Tokens
2nd: $30 Value PIZZA/ONEUP Tokens
3rd: $15 Value PIZZA/ONEUP Tokens
4th - 10th: $8.50 Value PIZZA/ONEUP Tokens
11th - 20th: $3.50 Value PIZZA/ONEUP tokens

Enter as many times as you like but make sure you submit at least 5 to qualify. Also, be sure to vote on the submissions you like best as we will consider the community votes when making our decisions!

Points

Each gif that you submit that we pick will earn you a point For example, if you submit all 5 of the required gifs to qualify and we choose all 5, you will earn 5 points




You are allowed to submit more than 5 gifs, points do stack beyond 5 At the end of the giveaway winner ranks will be determined by points awarded. If everyone has the same amount of points, winner ranks will be determined by our favorite gifs.

Here are the rules:

Create and submit a minimum of 5 PIZZA/1UP-CARTEL Partnership related GIFs. Use your imagination!
GIFs must have the PIZZA and 1UP or CARTEL logo.
GIFs must have text if the joke or meme is not obvious
GIFs must be safe for work or Discord ToS / Tenor ToS / Giphy ToS appropriate so that we can use the ones we select
GIFs must be decent quality. We reserve the right to use judgement here and will skip your submission if the quality is low. Refer to the statement above for more details.
You must either post your submission in our Discord server using the pizza-gif-contest channel or by replying directly to this thread!

Guild Scholarship Updates

• We're excited to announce that our farmers are out in the fields and the initial phase of testing that our first wave of Scholars is conducting is nearly complete! We're very excited to see the first round of Harvest Reports making their way on-chain over the next couple of days and feel the overall reception has been pretty positive from those participating in the program! We believe we are building an attractive program that will drive more interest to Pizza and to blockchain gaming on HIVE as a whole!

• As most of you know, we've also teamed up with @wrestorgonline and will be bringing our Scholarship program to WOO! Keep an eye out for the pre-sale taking place on 3/16 (what a suiting date)! You'll also be able to pay with PIZZA!

Community Game Nights & Events

• We want to take a moment to invite you to our community game and event nights! We have several events throughout the week ranging from movie nights, to dj sessions, to radio shows, to video games and more! We currently have 12 events schedule at time of this post for the next 2 weeks with more being added every day!

  • We have formally added Planetside 2 to our community rotation and have a squadron gaming session every Saturday. Planetside 2 is a grand-scale multiplayer future battlefield game that features 3 opposing features battling over territory and supremacy on land air and sea! It's free to play and on Steam for PC. If you would like to join in on this epic battle gameplay then join our Discord and let's rock!
    
    
• War Thunder
  • For those who enjoy things a bit more on the simulator side, we also have a weekly gathering now scheduled for those who enjoy War Thunder. War Thunder is also free and cross-compatible. We play across all three game modes (tanks, planes, and ships) and invite you to join the PIZZA squadron today!
