for @digi-me's CCC Street Art Contest

I haven't done this in a long time mainly because since I moved I don't have the chance to be around Old Street and Shoreditch that much, I used to live there in the past and taking pictures of new graffiti it was something as easy as doing it on the way back from work every day 😁

I had a lovely time few weeks ago as my partner @zddf made me a majestic surprise, she brought my parents over from Rome as a surprise for my 29th Birthday on the 30th of March, they just popped out of nowhere... @zddf is an angel and she is a keeper, I love that beautiful woman with all my heart! ❤️

A bit of Background and Info

• As usual the location of this collection is London - Old Street - Shoreditch.
• Snapped the pictures as I was walking around London on the 1st of April, I will also add some pictures with a nice view of London at the bottom of the post.
• It was in the afternoon and because we recently went from UTC to BTS (1 more hour of sun) we still had a lovely sun up in the sky!
• As usual pictures snapped with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G+
• I do not know the artists and when I do I usally put their name and website if I know about it, in this case I do not know about any of the artists but whenever I snap the pictures and I see artists around I always ask them if it's ok and let them know that I will show their art in a post and they are always extremely happy about it, they do this shit for passion and the more people look at it the more they are happy! Gotta love this attitude! Big up to all the StreetArt artists out there doing this shit for passion! One Love!

Next Level Mural

^{This is NEXT LEVEL! I did not select this as my main entry because I didn't manage to snap an enough satisfactory picture and I don't think I would ever be able to without renting an helicopter lol}

^{I just moved a bit closer in this picture, still not easy to get all the details, hence why I tried to snap more pictures with just some details in them, coming next...}

^{CONNECTIVITY MATTERS! This made me think of Hive where we connect with each other trying to create meaningful connections with people that have similar interests, Hive is truly a blessing for this!}

^{The colours look so good in this piece, the artist or artists definitely know their shit! 😎}

^{In this picture I tried to get some of the details of the piece, it goes all along a huge building and I had my parents pressing me to move so I didn't manage to snap too many pictures, I may get back to this one and dedicate a whole post to it because it definitely deserves some more attention! Too many cool details in it and very easy to miss!}

Colour over Sad Grey Buildings

^{Some of these if you take them one by one they're not even that good but together they create this wonderful rainbow effect, so cool!}

^{This is a recent addition! Previously in one of my posts I showed a massive wall done with this style, recently (in the last year) they did the same style on these little parts that stick out, I think they're some sort of exhaust for some building.}

Another NEXT LEVEL Wall!

Have a look at this wonderful work! I did already spoiler the first two letters a bit earlier in this post! This is another one of my favourites from this day! Enjoy:

Sorry for the last picture, it's a bit too dark, I tried to do a panoramic picture but I didn't really get the effect I wanted, my family was pressing me to go so I didn't want to spent too much time on this one. I might get back to it one day to take a better panoramic picture!</sup>

Some Non-StreetArt pictures from that day

As I promised earlier here I will post some pictures I took that day.

We went to a place called Garden at 120 and I took some very cool pictures there. It's a very cool place to go to chill out and have a nice view of the city. Unfortunately there is no bar up there so Drinks and Food are not allowed but it's definitely a great place to hit if you want some peace and maybe read a book with a sophisticated view of the city in the background.

Pictures taken from the Garden at 120

^{More pictures of The Gherkin, you can see in the first three pictures I was having fun trying some weird effects, I just took the pictures between the gaps of the glass panels to protect people from falling. Pretty cool pictures came out IMHO! In the last one I just took the picture behind the glass looking for this very cool reflection effect!}

^{This building is called The Walkie-Talkie, in the top area there is a very cool place called Sky Garden, beautiful place to go for a drink or just to chill out enjoying some sick view, free entry if booked in advance!}
