Hey everyone, yesterday it was a perfect day to go out for a walk together with my daughter, the area we live in is great for walking since our country is entirely flat (I would like some hills for a change but for everyday life it's pretty convenient) and living in between rivers and farm lands it's great for just go out for a walk without first having to drive with the car.
Half way on our walk we came across this pretty mural that wasn't there before, my daughter, being a teenager wasn't very impressed with it but in my opinion it was worth the time to walk closer and make some pictures so I could use it for another street art post for this weeks CCC's Street Art Contest #245!
I checked online for some more info to put on this post, I'm always curious and the painting looks old, not the mural, it was made about six weeks ago.
The sun was great to walk in, it's not too hot this early in the year but it wasn't helping to make good quality pictures with so much brightness...
Artist: Herman Heyenbrock
Location: Horndijk, Leerdam, The Netherlands.
Herman Heijenbrock (1871 in Amsterdam – 1948 in Blaricum), was a Dutch writer, painter, pastel draughtsman, and lithographer. He founded the "Museum van den Arbeid" in 1923, which later became NEMO Science Museum.
My city is famous for the manufacturing of glass, this is a painting about the work in the glass factory in 1918.
On the location of the old glassblowing factory is now a museum where they still show how glass art is made by hand, is really skillful and very pretty
That's all for today, until next time!

Beautiful mural highlighting the city's industrial heritage. The style may be a little too academic for your daughter. But great work. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
Have a great week
Same to you, enjoy!
