Dedicated to University Sports [ENG-PT/BR]
Life as a student in Coimbra is not limited to acquiring academic knowledge. Depending on their skills and interests, students have the opportunity to engage in culture, politics, and sports. All of this is made possible by the Academic Association of Coimbra (AAC), the largest and most prestigious student association in the country.
This association comprises 28 sports sections and is widely recognized as one of Portugal’s most eclectic sports institutions. Recognizing that university sports (worldwide) are vital for developing elite athletes, the University of Coimbra decided to highlight this importance by honoring several champion athletes with this institutional mural. It is located inside the University Stadium.
The mural features university athletes who have brought great joy to sports in Coimbra and nationwide, having competed in various sports at the Olympic Games.
It reads:

"This mural pays tribute to the student-athletes of our University who, through dedication, resilience, and a spirit of perseverance, have elevated the institution's name to the highest level of world sport.
By balancing academic rigor with the demands of elite athletic performance, these outstanding individuals embody the values that define us: discipline, hard work, commitment, integrity, and ambition.
Their achievements inspire our community and reinforce the conviction that excellence can be attained in multiple dimensions, honoring knowledge, performance, and sporting success simultaneously.

Dedicado ao Desporto Universitário
Já algum tempo que não publico nesta comunidade, confesso que já estou com saudades. Para matar essas saudades, partilho com vocês o mais recente mural institucional de arte de rua inaugurado em Coimbra.
A Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal, uma das mais antigas da Europa com 736 anos de história, dedicou no passado dia 16 junho um mural ao desporto universitário.
A vida de um estudante de Coimbra não se resume a adquirir conhecimento académico. Os estudantes, dependendo dos seus skills e motivações, têm oportunidade de se dedicar à cultura, à política e ao desporto. Tudo possível graças à Associação Académica de Coimbra (AAC), a maior e mais prestigiada associação de estudantes do país.
Esta associação é composta por 28 Secções Desportivas, é amplamente reconhecida como um das instituições desportivas mais ecléticas de Portugal. Sabendo que o desporto universitário (em todo mundo) é importante para a criação de atletas de alta competição, a Universidade de Coimbra resolveu marcar essa importância homenageando vários atletas campeões com este mural institucional. Ele está instalado no interior do Estádio Universitário.
O mural mostra atletas universitários que já deram muitas alegrias ao desporto de Coimbra, e nacional, com presença em Jogos Olímpicos de diferentes modalidades.
