Good & Bad Travel Experience

Traveling is always a task with small kids and specially when we use the public transport or the journey is of long distances. Gurseerat is now 6 year old and understand many things around her but still traveling with her means you have to hear one sentence often is I am board when we will reach at destination. For our local travel I prefer my own vehicle and for long distances I prefer the travel by train or airplane. Of course the air fare are more so traveling by air is costly affair but some time is become requirement to take advantage of short time travel time. We as couple do not have any issues of travelling and our kid also like it (but she does not like the visit to market near to us). Gurseerat is always ready when I asked if she wanna visit to Mumbai (metropolitan city in western part of country where we use live before we got transferred near to our native place) or a hill station. She missed her friends form the Mumbai and the beach too. She was just 4 year old when we left the city but still she has the memories in her mind. No doubt long traveling required the planning and many other factors also involved to make it a successful activity. A travel can give both a positive or a nagative experience but both the experience give a lesson and get printed innour memories. The learning form the previous experience help us to make the next trip more successful. For me traveling is my hobby and I am always ready for a trip if time permits.

Traveling look cool and fill us with joy if it's vacation time. Most of the time the things goes as per the planning but some time it's opposite of what we thing or it does not go as per the planning which make the traveling more boring and some time give us the worst experience. I am sharing a incident form our travel plan where the starting and the ending of our journey give was some bad experience but over al it was a nice experience for us all.

As I told above we live in the Mumbai in past and we have some good friends their and Gurseerat always ask us to visit their so last year we decided to celebrate the New Year with our friends form Mumbai. As per plan we took the train to capital city Delhi and form Delhi we booked the ticket for our air travel. The things were going as per plan till we reached the Delhi airport. After taking our boarding pass we were waiting for the gate announcement and that also come in some time. We were waiting for the boarding to start, sitting in front of the gate announced. Gurseerat was super excited to see the landscape lights form the window of plane as it was late night timing. We get our first shock when we received the massage that the flight has been delayed as the crew is not available. We were like - Are you crazy, who give such excuses that we can not fly on time as we do not have crew 😭 😞. We were more worried that they should not cancelled the flight, reaching late is better then the cancel of travel planning. Gurseerat was asking again and again that when we will fly and we do not have any answer for same as the airline was extending the time of boarding again and again. Now it was more then two hour waiting and Gurseerat also fall asleep. We get a relief when we see the crew reaching the boarding gate. We were like now we will fly soon but still there were some more hurdles. The crew was available now but the pilot and co-pilot were not available. They were giving us assurance that they are arranging the staff and shortly they will be here. After another almost one hour waiting finally we hear the announcement that pilot has come and they started the boarding. We were feeling so reliefsed and now we were assured that we will be able to enjoy our vacation.

The rest of the travel was very good and we enjoyed a lot during our visit to Mumbai. We celebrate the New Year with our friends and Gurseerat was also happy to meet her old friends. We planned to celebrate the new year outside the city and next morning we will going a beach which was approximately 220 km journey and it will take approximately 2 hours by road. One of our friends family also joined us and they took their car also. Now we have the company as well as the convenience also. The travel by own vehicle means we have the flexibility in timing and routes. We can also stop anywhere during our journey of we find a god stopping point to rest or to enjoy the view. The initial part of journey was around a big lake called - Pawna Lake which is one of the biggest lake in the area. For some time we were riding our vehicle around the lake and on the hills. The views were so amazing and memorable. From height we will be able to see the arial view of the lake and able to see how big it is. At one point of time we were in a road where on both side we have the big heighted rocks. The view was amazing as I have seen such passage rarely. We stopped on the way for some local snacks and it was good for our restless kids also lol.

The start of our trip was not good but it was overall a wonderful experience and we all enjoyed a lot.
