Our Recent Guild Brawl and Featured Battles

Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!

We just concluded another brawl. We improved our performance this week and climbed to fifth place compared to last week's eighth. In today’s post, I’ll be sharing a breakdown of our overall brawl results, my personal contribution and my favorite battles.

Guild Rank and Performance

We finished the brawl in fifth place. A lot better than last week's eighth. We won eighty four battles and lost sixty. Our guild earned ninety eight crowns which we can use to improve our guild buildings.

While my personal performance was slightly better from last week's, there's still much room for improvement. I won five battles out of eight for more than fifty per cent performance. Each of us earned 5.1k merits and 57 SPS.

Featured Battles

The featured battles involve one of my favorite gladiator cards: Fina Voxom. In these battles, she displays why she's one of the best damage dealers in the game. At level two, her stats and abilities give her the tools to hunt down the lowest health enemy and defeat them in one hit. She deals four melee damage and has four speed. She has Opportunity ability that enables her to attack with melee from afar and target the enemy with lowest health. She also has Piercing, allowing her to do damage to health if the enemy's armor gets broken. This triggers her Bloodlust ability, increasing all her stats as she defeats more enemies.

Battle 1 - Fire vs Death

In the first battle, I had the two tank combo of Doomshield Warden and Drybone Megalodon. This was followed by Night Reaper who can also be an alternative tank aside from magic damage dealer. Next is my magic nuker Ballista Deadshot followed by Fina. Lastly, I had Continuum Seer to complete the team.

The enemy had the Death team and they were low health that were easy pickings for Fina. Once his Taunt unit got defeated, Fina did her job and eliminated the enemies.

Battle 2 - Fire vs Life

In the next battle, I used a different dual tank combo. This was a lower mana battle so I didn't field in Night Reaper and Ballista Deadshot. Instead, I used Portly Cannoneer who has the Inspire ability and Syrenth who has Taunt to draw enemy attacks.

The enemy chose Life with Doomshield Warden as tank. His team didn't have that much synergy having units that can't attack in the round. His backline damage dealers were Captain Katie and Luceheim Demon. It was Fina's show again as she picked off enemy units and increased her attacks each time she defeats one. Her increasing power from bloodlust allowed her to one shot enemy units.
