Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!
Our guild has just concluded our latest brawl. We improved in this week's brawl compared to the last, landing in fifth place compared to last week's sixth. In today’s post, I’ll share a breakdown of our overall brawl results, share my personal contribution and feature a few of my favorite battles.

We finished the brawl in fifth place, a bit better than last week's sixth place. We scored seventy six wins against sixty eight losses. Fourth place Splinters Trouble only had four more wins compared to us. Our guild earned eighty eight crowns that we can use to improve our guild buildings.

I had a respectable brawl, winning five battles out of eight and contributed fifteen points. Each of us who joined the brawl earned 4.6k merits and 53 SPS.

The battle had the Earthquake ruleset. I chose Razi Clanktrap archon since I have decent flying units in Death. Xulax Nightwind took the tank position. He's an offensive tank with defense against melee and magic attacks. Next up is Chaos Battlemage who deals three range damage and has the Resurrect ability. I can use range unit as an offtank since the archon grants the Close Range ability to all units. In third position was another range unit, Meriput Slinger. In fifth, I had Gravebrand Warlock who deals three magic damage and has the Swiftness ability. In fifth is my flying unit, Shadowfey Shiek. He deals two magic damage and has the Life Leech ability in addition to flying. Finally, I have Arachne Weaver who will sustain the team with its Corrupted Healing ability.
The enemy only had four cards including his flying unit. He also did not have any gladiators. This severely put him at a disadvantage since there was not much synergy among his team. His team was quickly cut down by my own attacks and earthquake.

The second battle was capped at twenty eight mana. I used the Wayfinder and Giraffe combo that synergizes Reckless and Painforge abilities. Next is my gladiator card, Fina Voxom. She's one of the strongest cards in terms of offense due to her stats and abilities. Next are two cards with Opportunity ability to combo with Fina who has the same ability. Together they will hunt down the enemy's low health units. Lastly I had the the Portly Cannoneer to buff my melee units with Inspire.
The enemy had the legendary Risquel Drath archon. One of his cards was high mana and as a result, he only had four units against my six. I had the better synergy and better gladiator card. The battle was not that easy though as the enemy's units were able to dodge my units attack because they are all flying. However my units found their mark in later rounds and won the battle.
