Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome back to my blog!
Our guild concluded our latest brawl. We climbed from the bottom of the standings and finished seventh. It's an improvement from our performance last week where we placed next to the last. In todayβs post, Iβll be sharing a breakdown of our overall brawl results, my personal contribution and my favorite battle.

We managed to rank in seventh place, an improvement from ninth place last week. Our guild earned 77 crowns which we can use to improve our guild buildings. There's still much room for improvement though since our win rate is still below 50%.

My own performance was the same as last week. I won six battles against three losses. It's above 50% so I'm satisfied with my contribution. Each of us who joined the brawl earned 4k merits and 42 SPS, an improvement from last week.

My favorite battle in the brawl had the Explosive Weaponry ruleset for only twenty eight mana cap. We were not allowed to use Quora which would normally give our opponents a huge advantage. However, due to the low mana battle, the disadvantage was not felt that much. I had Kaylia Silverleaf archon of Earth and the rest of the team were as follows.
For a low mana battle, the Halfling Refugee is a dependable tank. He deals three melee damage, has six health and three speed for only one mana. Higher levels even have self healing ability but mine does not.
The Thunderhoof Nomad is crucial to be placed in second position because of her Deflect ability. It makes her immune to Blast damage that's included in the ruleset.
It's important to attack first in this battle because of the Explosive Weaponry ruleset. Defeating the enemy before they can do damage was my goal so I included the Silverleaf Warlock in my team. He buffs the whole team with one speed stat making them attack the enemy first. He also has the Execute ability from the archon allowing him to finish any target whose health goes down to two or below.
Bren Palesworn is a legendary card with dual attack of range and melee. He also has the Sneak ability to target the enemy's rear. Further, he has the Shapeshift ability enabling him to benefit from the archon's bloodline dominion ability, Execute.
Ironwing Juggernaut is a nice addition to the lineup for only three mana. He deals two melee damage and has the Charge ability enabling him to attack with melee from any position.
In the absence of Quora, Katrelba Gobson is the next best offensive gladiator card in the Earth splinter. She deals three melee damage, has Double Strike and Sneak ability. She will harass the enemy's backline along with Bren Palesworn.
The enemy expectedly had Quora at tank. She is supported by another healer and a unit with Protect, giving her two armor. In the backline, he had Halfling Refugee to tank against sneak attackers. The battle is between his the strength of his frontline against my attack against his rear. Katrelba's Double Strike was the key in this battle. She was able to defeat multiple enemy's and triggered her Bloodlust. Soon she had seven attack and Quora's healing cannot keepup with the damage and lost.

Hi.
I like "Katrelba Gobson" because she has "Double Strike" and "Bloodlust". I can deal a lot of damage to the last enemies and gain a lot of power in the process.
Nice game, my friend. π
Indeed. She's my second favorite gladiator card in the Earth splinter π
