Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome to my blog. We completed another successful brawl this week. In today's post, I will share our performance in the brawl, my own contribution and featured battles.

Our guild ranked in fifth place with two hundred seventy points. We won ninety battles and lost sixty three earning eighty five crowns that we can use to upgrade our buildings. Upgrading buildings give members benefits like a glint and SPS multiplier in won battles.
I managed to win all my battles for a perfect score, contributing twenty seven points to our score. Each particant in our guild earned 4.4k merits and 53 SPS.

In this battle, the ruleset included Reverse Speed. Units with lowest speed attack first and have the highest chance of evasion. It's time for slow units to shine. The other ruleset was Weak Magic, magic damage doesn't go through armor so tanks with thick armor is important.
The available splinters were Water, Fire and Dragon. I picked a combination of Dragon and Fire splinter since Water units are usually fast. My archon was Kavor Skarn who provides speed buff to all drakoshan race.

My tank was the Ulundin Overseer. It's only level one but brings a lot to table. He has no attack but boast of sturdy defense of five armor and twelve health. It has one speed that increases its chance of evasion in this ruleset.
Chimney Wallstop was my gladiator card. It's one of the slow gladiator cards and has a high melee damage of six. It's a great off tank having three armor and eight health. It has a support ability of Repair which is crucial in this battle that has the Weak Magic ruleset.
The fearsome assassin with high melee damage. Grove Doomblade is held back by her slow speed stat that becomes an asset in this ruleset. She can decimate the enemy's backline with her attack and speed.
I anticipated that the enemy will also build a melee team so I had Emberguard. She doesn't deal much damage but has the Demoralize ability decreasing the enemy's melee attack by one.
In contrast, the Portly Cannoneer buffs my team's melee attack by one. He also doesn't do much damage but his support ability makes him a great asset in the team.
I like using Taunt units in my team and Syrenth fills the role in this battle. Her slow speed now works well with her Dodge ability. Aside from her role as a Taunt unit, she also deals four range damage.
My enemy has the great dragon Rage as archon. He recently got a buff that removed his debilitation making him more powerful. He has a decent tank and also had Chimney Wallstop for his gladiator card. He also had Grove Doomblade and Portly Cannoneer in his team. A couple of legendary cards completed the enemy's team.
The battle was close as we both had Grove Doomblade that eliminated both team's back rank. My enemy's was even more powerful having the Execute ability from Rage. The Repair ability came to my rescue and saved my units a lot of times in this battle. It allowed my units to survive longer and pull off the victory.
