Latest Guild Brawl Ranking and Selected Battles

Hello Splinterlands summoners and welcome to my blog! I had a perfect score in last guild brawl! In today's post, I will show our ranking, performance and featured battles.

Personal Performance and Guild Ranking

This is my best performance in a brawl ever. I got nine wins and no losses for a perfect score of nine out nine. Each of the participants who joined the brawl earned 5k Merits and 59 SPS.

Our guild was fifth place in the rankings scoring 103 wins and 86 losses. We earned one hundred Crowns that we can use to upgrade our guild buildings.

Featured Battle

I liked this battle since I got to use my third favorite gladiator card. The rulesets include Need for Speed and Stampede. I built my team starting with a strong tank followed by damage dealers and support units. I'll write in detail the unit stats and abilities and how they work together as a team.

I chose the Death splinter with Razi Clanktrap archon providing the Close Range ability to range units. The rest of the team were composed of the following units.

Xulax Nightwind

Xulax Nightwind is the best gladiator tank that can go head to head against Quora. He deals four melee damage and has three speed. He has good defense of seven armor and seven health. He also has great counters against magic and melee attacks with his Void Armor and Thorns ability. All these stats and abilities complement each other well to make him a great unit in the front line who combines offense and defense. He is one of my favorite gladiator cards along with Quora Towershead and Fina Voxom.

Next comes the damage dealers and support units.

Mindless Thrall

The Mindless Thrall deals decent damage and is very fast with five speed stats, a great unit in the Need for Speed ruleset. It also has the Phase ability, enabling it to use its speed to dodge magic attacks.

Chaos Battlemage

The Chaos Battlemage deals three ranged damage and has four speed. It has an armor and five health. It gets the Close Range ability from the archon and also has the Rebirth ability, enabling it to resurrect once in battle.

Silverleaf Warlock

The Silverleaf Warlock combines offense and support. It deals two magic damage while buffing the team with an additional speed. He comboes well with the next unit in the team.

Meriput Slinger

The Meriput Slinger is a good damage dealer with four ranged damage while debuffing the enemy with a decrease in speed. Further, it decreases its target's speed by one after each successful attack.

Conclave Tracker

The Conclave Tracker is a perfect support for the tank. It has the Repair ability that replenishes Xulax's armor each round. It makes my tank live longer and do damage to the enemy tank while keeping the enemy's damage dealers at bay.

Enemy Team and Battle

The enemy chose the Water splinter with a double tank combo. Both his tanks deal great damage while having sufficient defense. His backline is composed of magic and ranged damage dealers.

My team had the advantage in speed as well as the better tank. The enemy team was also good and decimated my team. However, he had the Shock Trooper in his team that also dealt damage to allied units every round. This helped my team win the battle.
