Opening packs is one of my joys in Splinterlands, and today is the day to open Gladius Cases and get more Gladiator cards in the game.
I have enough merits to buy 3 Gladius Cases, let's see if my luck opening packs is better than my luck opening Loot Chests.
Each Gladius Case costs 2,000 merits, it will give the player 5 Gladiator cards and at least 1 card will be of rare rarity or higher.
Since I'm going to buy 3 Gladius Cases, that means I'll spend 6,000 merits.
When opening Gladius Cases I have the option to use Blood Stones and Power Stones, both of which cost merits and can be purchased at the Guild Store.
Since I don't want to spend money on Blood Stones and Power Stones because they're not very useful to me right now, I'm just going to buy Gladius Cases.
Now let's see how my luck is and what cards I'll get by opening Gladius Cases.
I haven't had any luck with legendary cards or Gold Foil cards, but that's not a problem because every card I get from Gladius Cases is useful for leveling up my current cards.
Currently, this is my collection of Gladiator cards in Splinterlands. It's still weak, but I'm gradually improving them and I believe that in 1 year or maybe less, I'll finally be able to raise them all to the maximum level. For now, I need to go back to participating in my guild's Brawls to increase my merit gains and also to get more SPS. Since my guild participates in Tier 4 Brawls, it would be a waste not to participate and miss out on the great rewards that my guild receives from Brawls.
My strategy is to only evolve my regular cards because they're easier to get, after evolving all the regular cards I might think about the Gold Foil ones.
I'm finally going to be active in ranked battles again and take advantage of the new season starting to develop my new strategy in the game, I'll talk about it soon in another post.
