Hive Town Update - Haunted Carnival
Hive Town is a new game on the Hive blockchain developed by @rozioo. It's free to play and has nice graphics. It looks like a town in an RPG. You have your character whose looks can be customized that moves around the town. Recently, there are updates to the game. A new game mode called Haunted Carnival replaced Zombie Arena. Let's check it out.
Haunted Carnival
The Haunted Carnival is located on the lower right side of the map.
It's a game like the ones seen in carnivals.
The aim is to blast the spooky creatures invading the screen. Zombies, monsters, and other Halloween characters are trying to escape. Our mission is to shoot them as they appear. Just like other shooting games, beware of friendly fire or shooting bees or honey jars. After all, this is Hive Town we also need to protect the bees and honey.
As the waves progress, the game speeds up and gets more intense and targets are flying in from everywhere. Players will need quick reactions and fast fingers.
Game Modes
Game Mode 1 – Halloween Challenge is designed for players who want a quick game and score some extra points for the ongoing Halloween event. The main objective is to clear multiple rounds of increasing difficulty. Players start out with three lives, so you will need to watch your aim carefully, as shooting a bee or any other protected target will cost you a life. Successfully completing this mode allows you to earn points toward the Halloween Event and climb the event standings. This mode is optimized even mobile players.
Game Mode 2 – Survival Mode is a more competitive experience for players. In this mode, the goal is to survive 30 waves of increasing difficulty with just five lives. Each new wave moves 10% faster than the last, shortening your reaction time. Test your limits and claim the top spot on the Hive Town leaderboard.
Testing Mode 1
I tested mode 1 and I scored 1,890 with 96% accuracy. It gets really difficult as the game progresses and you have to be fast and react quickly to hit the monsters and avoid hitting the bees and honey. It's quite fun and I recommend you try it.
