Giving tithe is not ordinary, it's an obligation, we are obligated to pay tithes , just like the Israelites who paid to the priest or levites.
Tithe is a commandments from God , those that where commanded to collect tight are sons of levi , who are in the office of the priesthood.
The levites are commanded to receive or collect tight from the people.
From levitical priesthood it was changed to the priesthood of Jesus.
The replacement is lord Jesus Christ and the priest that was changed is Moses.
When the Lord Jesus Christ assumed the office of the high priest, he would continue for everlasting,he has a perpetual priesthood.
Priesthood wa changed in Israel because of death.
Jesus has an unchangeable priesthood.
