Is it Biblical For Christians To Pay Tithes? MCGI TOPIC Review

Happy Sunday everyone and trust we had a great day in God's presence.

So today, we will be discussing on the topic Brother Eli talked about pertaining tithes. If it is biblical for Christians to pay tithes.

Based on my own belief and like I do say, Christianity is about belief. Believing that truly we have a living God through his works and signs, that we have a great saviour who died for our sins and resurrected on the third day who gave us the Comforter to guide us through.
He has also made mention of it that he has not come to clear away the laws on ground but to adjust them so definitely God's words and instructions from the old testament beseeching us to pay tithes (which is 1 out of 10 of our profits or income) to the Levites still remain valid. He said "that food may be in my house".

Mere looking at it, even if there's no instruction of paying tithe but we have priests who go leading us into giving service to our maker at every gathering of the brethren, are we meant to make them go hungry? Just like when Jesus made a parable while teaching that when I was hungry, you didn't give me food, when I was naked you didn't cloth me......

Paying tithe is biblical for every Christian but it depends on that part we want to believe in. Either it's a part that the instruction has been given which we have to follow and do willingly OR that the instruction has been renewed by the New testament because the old is stained.

Just like my pastor of the church I attend while on the Island, he would say and I quote

It is good to pay tithes as Christians but I will never force you to pay tithe. Just ensure 1 of 10th of your income goes out even if it's not to your pastor.

Deep down in us, we know that alms is different from tithe as the final destinations are different.
Tithe payment is not us just paying money but giving back to God through the ones he uses for his works out of all he has given unto us as blessings on our works and as an instruction from him right from the Old Testament. Malachi 3:9-12
