Death Of Children - Topic Review

Happy Lord's Day brethren and trust we had a great day in God's presence today

Many at times when we cry and mourn for the loss of children who are not even up to teenagers, to know what sweetness lies in the world or the struggles one have to face or the challenges one have to overcome to become successful and have a story to tell at the end of the day and we begin to wonder what actually have they done to deserve dying at such a tender age as a child, when they could have lived long on earth, fulfilling destinies like the promises in the Bible.

But then, we have forgotten that we are told in the scripture, that both young and old stands before the throne on the day of judgement. So definitely, it has been established that it doesn't matter if we live long or not, but death isn't a respecter of anyone.

We should realize how much God loves children that even made him use them as comparison or instances for admonishing the adults in living their lives so that they can inherit the kingdom of God. With this kind of love, then we should know that they are most precious and valuable to him, to not allow bad things happen to them if the scripture was not meant to be fulfilled.

Though, no one ever prays to die untimely or lose their children, but then I think the main prayer is, whenever it may be, we shall not lose eternal rest.
