Put them elbows in son. You lost count? Back to one one then.
Anyways, I did burpees daily when I was in prison. Lost 140lbs in body fat in 3 months and gained 50lbs in muscle. Now I weigh 90kilos But I'm 6'3" too.
YES SIR!!!
Question. What is it that you are trying to achieve?
For example, if it's muscle build up, then doing it daily is not what you want to do, but doing one set till failure then rest for several days, preference of 4 to 6 days of rest.
Exercises are to stimulate growth. Muscle grows when resting.
Another example, If you want to let's say harden the muscles you have now in your arms, then short and fast and many pushups would be needed.
I often use Burpees as a warm up for my Wing Chun training.
I don't often do it daily, more like 3 times a week, each session no more than 40mins. I do go to failure often. I'm an ectomorph so its very hard for me to build mass, but slowly as i hone in my diet, i have seen some small mass gains on this meat bag. I have to thank my job as a kitchen porter though, it helps me a lot.
What i do have is a good nervous system, so as of recent i've been conditioning myself this way.
I have scheduled a period of push ups, back to basics man. Short pumps are my go to. I don't often go for mass building, more for functional training. I can't do a lot of heavy training though, as my job is very physically strenuous already. But i try, and i fail.
