So Hive as a web3 platform is not place where you just owned an account and relax. You must socialise, you must meet people, communicate, try and create a conversation with that you'll find hive so interesting. It's actually a place where you turn your passion into earning. In life we don't just wake up to know things, we learn from people, we stand on the soldier of giant.
So in this post I'll show a step by step on how to explore your journey in Hive and make it interesting.
How to join a community and follow people on ecency app.
Hive is made up of different communities, and community is like a niche. And when we talk about niche, it's like a market, like an audience you wants to reach.
So in Hive, they are different communities that resonates your interest. In Hive associating with members of a community that match your interest, can help you grow and even have new connections. So here's step by step on how to join community and follow people.
When you login to your ecency app
On your home page you see a post
Here's what to do to follow the person and join the community if you're not in it already.
Click the community first, the write up under the person's name is the community
Click on join
This is how it will reflect when you joined.
With that, you now become member of that community.
Please endeavour to read the rules and regulations and adhere to them so as not to kicked out.
How to follow people
Click on the person's name
Click on the blue
And if you wants to be make the person your favourite you clicked the second one too
Favorites means you'll always be motify when the person makes a post.
How to comment on people's post
In hive you'll realise, you literally earn and learn from almost everything you do. That is why it is important to leave meaningful comment on a person's post. And also endeavour to respond to everybody's comment on your post so as to keep them engaging.
Ignoring comments may lead to misinterpretation of one's reputation.
So here's how to comment
Click on the box, that looks like a message logo.
Then you drop your comments and hit the reply button.
How to reblog a post
Reblog simply means share
For instance you liked a particular post and you wants it to appear on your feed
Here's how to go about it.
Hit the arrow close to the comments box
Then click on reblog it will be posted
How to create a post.
Creating a post is essential in Hive, as you get to learn from others, let others also hear your thoughts.
Creating a post will make you known.
Steps on how to go about it
Click on the pencil arrow down to get your blank space to write.
After that is done, type your post and choose a community you wants to post to.
Add your title where you see title. ( The title of your post).
Check down and find the camera roll to update related photos.
Click on the tag button and tag the people you wants to .
When all of that is done
Hits the publish button and publish your post.
Click on the eye button to review your post
This is don inorder to see it appear the way it will be when you post it.
Crosscheck everything and hit the publish button
