It is not allowed for Dalang to use other language before he masters the Old Javanese and Sankrit language. It is called " Pakem" or "Rules". Some believe that Dalang should have or learn mystical power to master all the Wayang Pakem. That is very complicated.
Embracing videos? Emm. In my location no dalang who live nearby. I think some of young youtubers have tried to work with young dalang.
