Batik with natural motifs

One of the traditional arts in Indonesia is batik, batik has been around for a long time, a cultural heritage of our ancestors. There are several batik motifs that can be obtained from people's lives, natural motifs.

Gunung emas is the name of a plantation area in West Java, which grows plants such as tea plants,oil palm plantation plants, coffee plants, rubber plantation plants. Plantation crops are spread through out West Java.

The gunung emas area has a building that function is not far from the tea factory. The batik motifs inspired by the natural of the plantation that are planted. The batik gallery also displayed tools for making batik on cloth.

Tools for making batik include stamp batik and hand drawn batik, visitors who come to the batik gallery can buy or order batik cloth at the gallery. The batik gallery opens from 8 am and closes at 4 pm, there is a tea plantation employee who guards the gallery and provides explanations to visitors.

The batik motifs Made in the gallery are from nature, there are batik motifs from tea leaf shoots. Batik motifs from palm fruit, batik motifs from coffe. In addition, there are also mixed batik motifs from tea leaves and palm oil.

Starting from school children, government and private employees Will wear batik clothes once a week and batik clothes are worn at formal events. The batik motifs in each region Will be different because batik motifs are taken from natur inspiration and local culture.
