For your calligraphy interest a brush may be a better practice for you?
I've loved this artform (and also had a calligraphy set - of pens - at a young age)
I may just pick it up after your post. Struggling to find things that I even want to paint or draw at this point in my journey.

The idea of presenting the pens is from an initiative of the Hive Collectors community, without that proposal I would not have thought of doing something like that, haha.
Yes, I know people who do calligraphy with a brush. I have seen videos and they are mesmerising, relaxing. I haven't tried it, the truth is, maybe I'll follow your idea one of these days.

I've only just begun to write again, after the reaction around here, after 2,5 years.

It is hard because lots of trauma and I'm not allowed to speak as a South Africa woman. They have made that VERY clear now.
When writing (but it always has been, in all honesty) becomes and act of Resistance, huh?
