Good afternoon (or evening), Paloma—thank you so very much for the mention. Given the many wonderful paper-and-ink friends that already keep it company, Cajal couldn't be in a better place, nor could it have a better friend.
I find it hard to write a comment that doesn't come out in bits and pieces... though I will certainly say that you have some excellent friends and impeccable taste. It is true that not everyone is able to build a "collection"; there are so many reasons why. The younger generations don't read in print, and for those of us who are accustomed to paper books—moving house, financial instability, lack of space, and so on—these are all factors that make "building" a collection no easy feat. But when one does have a collection... oh, how much that collection reveals about the person who owns it!
You have some wonderful friends; I absolutely loved the collection. To be honest, I wasn't surprised by the titles and authors you featured. It is a very personal collection—so very you. I don't think a single one of the subjects I know you're passionate about is missing: Stoicism, mental health, historical fiction, Goya, Aragon, travel literature... and, of course, those indispensable dictionaries... nature—I was delighted to see that book by Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente—and The Little Prince...
However, out of all the books, there are two I’d like to single out: the Missal and the Historical Guide to Zaragoza. They are two books featuring exquisite illustrations, and they are quite rare finds—the kind of books that seem to be waiting for just the right friend... and they found you.
I’ll wrap things up by thanking you for showing us your "collection" of friends; I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you!

Buenas tardes (o noches) Paloma, muchísismas gracias por la mención. Por los tantos y buenos amigos de papel que ya acompañan, Cajal no podía estar en mejor lugar ni tener mejor amiga.
Me cuesta hacer un comentario que no vaya por partes... aunque si te diré que tiene s muy buenos amigos y un excelente gusto, Es cierto, que no todo el mundo puede tener una "colección" , hay muchis motivos... las nuevas generaciones no leen en papel, y entre los que estamos habituados al papel... las mimgraciones, la precariedad, la falta de espacio, etc... son motivos que no facilitan la "formación" de una colección... pero cuando se tiene una colección... cuantas cosas dice esa colección de la persona que la tiene.
Tienes unos amigos estupendos, me ha encantado la colección. La verdad es que no me hna sorprendido los títulos y autores que muestras. Es una colección muy personal, muy tuya... creo que no falta ningún tema de loa que se que te apasionan... Estoicismo, salud mental, novela histórica, Goya, Aragón, libros de viajes... también, los imprescindibles diccionarios... naturaleza, me ha encantado ver ese libro de Félix Rodriguez de la Fuente, el Pricipito...
Aunque, de todos los libros, hay dos que voy a destacar. El Misal y la Guía histórica de Zaragoza... son dos libros con unas ilustraciones preciosas y raros de encontrar. De esos libros que están esperando a la amiga adecuada... y te encontraron.

Nuestros libros hablan de nosotros, sin duda. Se pueden deducir muchas cosas sobre sus dueños. Algunos esperan años para ser leídos justo en el momento en que los necesitas o cuando eres capaz de entenderlos. Otros, por mucho que insistas, no son para ti, y eso también está bien.
El Misal fue una compra impulsiva, no lo he usado, pero sé que lo tengo por algo. Ya llegará tu momento.
Compré la Guía de Zaragoza cuando terminé de ver la exposición de Chillida. La tenían en un expositor a la salida, me detuve a mirarlo y me pidió que me la llevara. 😁 Me la he leído casi toda, pero le sacaré partido cuando haga publicaciones sobre lugares de interés.
Perdona el retraso en responder, ayer no tuve tiempo y hoy tuve dolor de cabeza. Ya se me ha pasado.

Our books talk about us, indeed. One can guess many things about its owners. Some wait years to be read at the precise moment you need them or when you are able to understand them. Others, no matter how much you insist, are not for you and that's fine too.
The Missal was a purchase without thinking, I haven't used it, but I know it's with me for something. Your time will come.
I bought the Zaragoza Guide when I finished watching Chillida's exhibition. They had it on a display at the exit, I stopped to look and he asked me to take it with me. 😁 I've read almost all of this one, but I'll get the juice out of it when I make publications about places of interest.
