Vibrant green rice with veggies

I will be making green rice with veggies today, and down below are the ingredients that were used.

Ingredients

500 g of rice

200 g of blended pepper

150 ml of groundnut oil

170 g of carrots

1 full tablespoon of salt

1 full teaspoon of curry & ginger powder

150 g of cucumber

1 piece of onion

Procedure

I parboiled the rice and then sieved the starch water out and then set the rice aside in a basket.

Then I rinse the veggies and begin to slice them, as you can see in the picture below.

After that, I place a clean pot on the burner and then pour the groundnut oil, and I allow it to get hot a little before adding the sliced carrots into it.

One minute after, I added the remaining ingredients, starting from onions, curry & ginger powder, salt, and the blended pepper.

I stirred it and then allowed it to cook for 3 minutes.

Lastly, I turned the parboiled rice into the sauce and then made use of a bigger spoon to stir it up into the sauce to influence the white rice completely, so I covered it and allowed it to steam for about three minutes.

One thing I love about rice is that it can be cooked with different spices and, of course, different methods as well, so tell me why I wouldn’t love such food that I can make in different ways.
