The Dark Moon || Book review

How can one smile so hard while reading a book? As I delved into the pages of "The Black Moon," a grin tugged at my lips. My sister, intrigued by my sudden joy, approached, thinking perhaps a love message had lit up my face. To her surprise, it was the captivating tale The Black Moon within the book that had cast this spell on me. With its 100 chapters, I found myself utterly enthralled, completely addicted to its narrative. It's undeniably one of the best reads I've ever had, weaving a world so vivid and delightful that my smiles became as endless as the moonlit night in its pages.

The book's narrative voice wrapped around me like a familiar embrace, drawing me into its world through the lens of first-person pronouns. As I delved into the first chapter, I skeptically anticipated just another mundane tale hiding behind an intriguing title, but was I actually getting bored by the first chapter? A fleeting thought crossed my mind—should I skim through or maybe look for another book. Yet, an invisible force, perhaps the book's hidden charm, compelled me to persist. Before I knew it, I was irresistibly pulled in, journeying through each chapter, I found myself going on and on, chapter by chapter, page by page until the very last word of the book.

The Black Moon written by Atalia Foster is a fantasy book on werewolves. The settings on this book were awesome. I give credit to the writer. Flipping through the pages of this book, I can't help but get mesmerized by it.

Imagine yourself as the only human in the midst of a pack of werewolves and you later find out that your destined mate is a werewolf. Okay, let's put it this way. Imagine the tension, the thrill, as a werewolf realizes that the mate bestowed upon him by the moon goddess is none other than a fragile human being.

In the realm of werewolves, where destinies intertwined under the moonlit sky, Grayson stood apart from his brethren. While most werewolves discovered their mates at the tender age of 16, he remained solitary, searching for his other half until the age of 23. A sense of longing hung heavy in his heart, like the lingering scent of an elusive flower carried by the night breeze. He later found out that his mate might be connected to his friend Cooper. I actually thought that Cooper might have been hiding Grayson mate from him but why exactly? Anyways that was exactly what Grayson had in mind, as an Alpha wolf he was ready to shatter Cooper's bone but we got it wrong. Copper, yes, was the key to finding Grayson mate but he wasn't hiding his mate.

Gosh! This book had my heart racing. I was eager to know what will be the fate for Grayson and his mate.

Thea a high school girl of 5.2 ft tall resides with her mom and her little sister. Ever since her dad passed away a few years ago, life has been a struggle. Despite the challenges, she stays strong for her family. One day, Thea forgot her pack of pens and borrowed one from Cooper. Little did they know, this simple act of kindness would change everything. Cooper's pen became the key to finding Thea's mate, Grayson.

What a twist! What do you think would be Grayson's reaction if he found out his mate was a human? Innocent Thea an introvert, and an antisocial human being. Now, she have to be in the circle of hot looking guys who are WEREWOLVES. The circle of love in this story filled my head with hot air. Gosh, I smiled to myself as I read through the pages of this book.

Thea was definitely a character in this story, she was a funny and strong willed 18 years old girl. The connection between her and Grayson will make you wish you had a man like Grayson.

I don't want to give away too much and ruin the excitement of diving into this book, but I bet it might be the best book you'd read this year. Even as I pen down these words, my face is beaming with the smile of the thought about Garyson and Thea's enchanting love story. Thea found herself falling in love with the boy or let's say the man Cooper introduced her to, his muscular body, towering height, handsome face, and deep voice never failed to send delightful shivers down her spine.

Grayson was the kind of man she dreamt of. But, she found herself questioning "This is too good to be true, Grayson is a very rich and handsome man and many ladies will kill to have him. I better stop this nonsense, we are two worlds apart, I don't think it will work out." Will she follow her thought or would Grayson kiss out the thought from her mind? I guess you are curious right? What if Thea decides to love Grayson as her heart wants, will everything change once she finds out that her prince charming is a werewolf? I guess you should find out for yourself.

I am not really used to really story-like books, but I watch quite a lot of werewolf movies because they are supernatural. For Grayson to be a werewolf, then that means he would be super strong, and now consider being rich and handsome; definitely, a lot of girls would really want to die for him!
