Hello there, and welcome to a new quote I grabbed from the book Make Time by Jake Knapp & John Zeratsky. It is lovely to have you here, and I truly enjoy sharing the knowledge I have grabbed from books. One of the best ways to learn new things and gain knowledge is through shared experiences, and what is a better shared experience than reading what an author has to say in their book?

Today's quote from the book is:
“You don’t find time. You make it.”
I enjoy quotes like this, where it is easy to grasp the context simply by reading them. The meaning lies in the surface value of the money, which suggests that you do not have time, but you make time. It is that simple, and it has to be about priority. The world is filled with noise, and we all know it. The internet and social media have made it easy for so many things to get our attention, whether it is a post, the need to play games,s or whatever it is, you do not have time for it or anything else simply because you did not make time for it. That is what Jake and John, the authors of the book, say. They do not share hacks about how to be effective with your time; rather, they solely talk about prioritizing the time you have.
We are living in a part of the world where a single email, call, or text message can take us off track from whatever we were doing. It takes a very simple distraction to get us carried away from whatever we were doing, which goes to say a lot about why there is no time for certain things in one's life. The authors go on to explain to their readers that making out time is not a passive action, rather it is an active action that requires your effort. You want to do this or that, you have to make the time to do it by including it in your schedule, planning your day towards that action, and this is the action the authors are talking about. Nobody has the time, and 24 hours a day is never enough, so you make it.
This knowledge brought me to remember an interview I watched of the former CEO of Pepsico, Indra Nooyi, where she was asked about the idea of work-life balance, like how do you balance it. What she said to this question is something that still sticks with me. She said there is nothing like work-life balance; it is a product of priority. It all boils down to what is important at that point. At that given time, your family th topmost priority, then prioritize that. If it is work at that point, then do the same. This is what it has been for her, and she operated on.
When time is always involved, you can never get enough of it. You still need to stay in control of it through your priorities. You can never get enough of it until you know what is important to you and what deserves your time at that moment. It takes more of your actions than it requires for you to keep going. You do not find time. You make it. Trust me, if it is that important to you, you will take it seriously.

Yes exactly the whole point.
definitely thankyou for sharing
Preach, you're right. It's about making time for what's important and taking advantage of opportunities as they arise. Don't wait for things to happen, make them happen.
True. Important things deserves more time. Thanks for your comment.
