My best mate's Dad has alzheimers. He and her mother were sitting in the back garden watching the sun going down having a beer and a wine when I visited last. I turned and said to my mate that it was very sweet. She laughed and said 'Don't think they're making any sense!'.
Even in times like that you need humour.

But it's a terrible disease :(
It is. And everyone knows someone who has suffered because of it. I didn't mean to sound flippant.
