The sloth's who buzz the most have already signed up! @tengolotodo's goal is to complete the 'Penny A Day' challenge, adding 1 penny (or HP) more each day to his saved amount. We have commenters @pathfinder7191 aiming for 50 HP and @onemanonewrite aiming for 100 HP. At the other end of the scale, we have @dewabrata aiming for an incredible 62,000 HP. A brief note to clear things up.
We launched #SlothlySavers on Wed 7th, Week 1 of 2026 (1st-7th Jan).
Our Week 2 post was Thur 8th, covering 8th-14th Jan.
This is 'week 3' of 2026, and of #SlothlySavers 15-21st.
Week 4 begins Thursday, 22nd Jan.
Hopefully, this gives everyone a better understanding of where their weekly post should feature and plenty of time to make their weekly post/comment for our Thursday posts.
The mission:
Sloth and Steady Savings, either on or off Hive. Join the #SlothlySavers as we work towards our Savings goals week by week. Starting slow, compounding and growing. Our earning potential is only held back by our own self-belief! Join the Slothly Saving Club and become one of our #SlothlySavers today!
Step One:
Set your Slothly Savings goal for 2026. Create a post setting out your intentions for the year ahead. We recommend 2 savings goals, a 'Main' goal and a 'Secondary' goal. We also recommend setting 'realistic' goals to help you avoid losing motivation.

The club is buzzing, yay! It's great to see everyone's goals for the year. Congratulations, everybody, and all the best as we work towards our targets.😉 My Slothly Savings journey started by creating a separate wallet and adding 5 HBD and 6 HIVE in it, then setting a weekly recurring transfer to keep things going :)

We're flabbergasted by the amount of sign-ups we've had this week already, looking forward to more slothly savers joining the club over the coming weeks too! I love the idea of having a separate savings wallet to keep everything clean and easy to track! The recurring HP send's are a cool feature too, now we need them for Hive-engine tokens!

Here's the burning update for week 3! I forgot to change my payout reward from burn to HP so I guess I'll be burning even more tokens! Maybe I should do that for my weekly #slothylavers burn posts anyway, it would help burn more tokens...but give me less HP towards my goal, options options!

Warm greetings Slothly Savers! Congratulations to @dewabrata and @sylmarill for your wins, my friends! Well, I smashed 16,200 HP last week, and I should reach 16,300 HP before the end of the week, so I'm thankfully returning to my 100-HIVE-per-week pace. I also finally set my two primary 2026 Hive Goals (which are already in the Savers Chart), and while formidable, they are achievable stretches, that I'll do my absolute best to achieve before the end of the year. By the way, I think that our friend @sylmarill was included twice in the Savers Chart. May the rest of this week be glorious for all of us!
