Liquidity pools, trading or staking?

Good evening buzzers! So, we're yet again thinking about how to support the SlothBuzz token best, or let it dwindle into insignificance?

This naturally brings us to Liquidity pools. Rewarding those who help support the token. However, this would mean 'setting a price' for the token. We'd have to add liquidity both on the Slothbuzz side and probably Swap:Hive. I can't imagine it would be worth using any other token pair, unless anyone has any ideas?

The next problem is the price: 1000 BEE (approximately 400 Hive) to set up the token pair, a significant ask for a token that isn't generating any real outside revenue. We don't sell slothbuzz, we don't charge fees for anything, so our only real earnings come from creating content, something we've been slothing on recently! Our KE rating on Hive is currently 0.22! Apparently, anything under 1 is good, so I'd say we're doing pretty well at showing our commitment to supporting not only our community but also Hive in general. Everything we make is rolled back into account HP, which is then used to like and support all your awesome content!

Next we'd need to look at what rewards we could provide. We love the varied communities here on Hive and would be looking to support those who have also supported us along the way. Each bringing a different 'culture' to the slothbuzz ecosystem. We'd aim to support those in return by snapping up some more of their tokens to provide as rewards, and of course, we'd happily accept any donated rewards into the pool (If and when we get it set up).

So, we'd have set up fees and further fees to add rewards...which leads us to, would it be worth it? Do we have enough community support, or at least interest, to have people support the liquidity pool? Would they do it to further support the SlothBuzz community, or purely for the rewards? Would they be incentivised enough to use the #slothbuzz hashtag and contribute to posting into the SlothBuzz community?

Or...Should we just stop altogether, forget the buzz and put the Sloth to sleep once and for all...Is there a future for Hive and SlothBuzz?
