Sloths Mining War round 13 comes to a close, what have we burnt?

Sloths Mining War round 13 is coming to an end!

Round 13 of Sloths Mining War has been on fire; it looks like the biggest pot so far, and it still has 16 hours to grow! Don't forget, a new round starts at 8 am UTC Wednesday 30th September!

Personally, I thought this round was a slightly more slothly week in-game in terms of mining rate progression; however, this isn't reflected in the pot, which seems to grow almost hourly!

Maybe the increased booster flipping has slowed some progression for the leaders, but it makes for a much more interesting week overall! More players had a chance to get into the top 10 and were using every option available, from shared to personal boosters! Every flip of the shared booster returns some funds to the previous owner and boosts the pot, sloth and steadily! This, mixed with the change to the boss, making it only turn back a couple of levels if it's not defeated in a week, has slowed the game down a lot more. Although competing for that top spot still requires major buzz!

$Slothbuzz token burns

As we see more activity in the top 10, we've also seen more players using the Torpor system in-game. To get a Torpor, which gives you 8 hours of invulnerability, you need to use one $Slothbuzz token. ($Slothbuzz is the POB reward token for content using the #slothbuzz tag on Hive!) Why not drop a game review and some feedback, use the #slothbuzz tag and earn some love from the #slothbuzz curation team! Who knows, it might bring you 8 hours of peaceful sleep with your Torpor!

Sloths Mining War then burns 50% of any $slothbuzz tokens used in-game, sending them straight to @null! With only 6.9 minted a day through their POB system, there aren't many on the market!. Tribaldex shows us they're currently trading with a sell price of 2.69 Swap.Hive and a buy price of 1.6 Swap.Hive. So the fluctuation between the prices is slowly decreasing.

In my last post, I said we were burning around 3 a day, and this trend seems to be continuing! Sloth and steady progress towards a deflationary future? I wonder if it's possible!

What matters is that we keep the buzz and take sloth steps forward! It doesn't matter how sloth we go, as long as we don't stop! Keep on burning burners!
