A proposal for the platform and its community
Hello admins and community of sloth.buzz,
my name is jorgeluisborges and I’m new here.
First of all, I’d like to directly address the administrators of this platform.
I’d like to briefly present this idea, ask for your permission, and see if you consider it aligned with the spirit and values of sloth.buzz.
If it makes sense and feels appropriate, I’d be happy to move forward openly and transparently.
I come from Hive, and I arrived here thanks to a small but meaningful gesture: someone tipped me through a comment on a Snap. Curiosity did the rest, and that’s how I ended up here.
What follows is a proposal for a series of experimental posts based on Prediction Markets, designed around long-term incentives, participation, and collective judgment.
🔮 What is the idea?
Each post will introduce:
- One clear prediction question
- A fixed expiration date (a precise number of days)
- Several possible outcomes, each represented by a comment
Participants take part by voting on the comment that represents the outcome they believe is correct.
⚙️ How the system works

- Each possible outcome is represented by a comment
- Users vote by supporting the comment they believe is correct
- The vote represents conviction and participation
🏆 Resolution
- When the expiration time is reached, one outcome is determined to be correct
- The comment representing that outcome becomes the winning comment
♾️ The core incentive (very important)
Permanent delegation to correct voters
- Every user who voted on the correct outcome receives a delegation
- The full amount corresponding to their vote (the vote’s delegated portion) is delegated back to them
- That delegation is permanent
Permanent means:
- Never removed
- Never undelegated
- No expiration
- Long-term by design
- For all practical purposes: forever
Once delegated, it stays delegated.

This is an interesting concept. I noticed you've also offered the same concept in other communities. It sounds like an interesting idea, and a great way to incentivise commenting and predictions in a 'safe' market. We'd be happy for you to trial it in the slothbuzz community. If it receives positive feedback, you could consider doing it daily, as the hive price is never constant; it could make for an interesting daily game for Hive users to play.
