Chasing Shadows: My Entry for Shadow Hunters Contest Round #421

‎Hi Hive,
‎
‎It is with great pleasure that I'm welcoming everyone to my blog and I hope you're all doing well and having a great day with your family and friends.
‎
‎This week, I tried to be more creative and create a shadow on the wall of my room rather than hunting for it. I found myself staring at something very ordinary… a kettle. Yes, just a simple kitchen kettle. But in the spirit of the Shadow Hunters Contest Round #421, I decided to look beyond what it is and focus on what it could become.

‎Late in the evening while the room was quiet and the light positioned just right, then the spirit of shadows hunting take over me with a little bit of creativity as I placed the kettle near the wall. At first, nothing special but just a shadow. But something interesting began to happen as I adjusted the angle of the light. The shadow stretched, twisted, and slowly transformed into something far more amazing than the kettle itself.

‎What I saw was not just a household item anymore as the shadow looked like a mysterious figure, almost like a silent guardian standing watch. The curved handle became a raised arm, the spout turned into a pointed face, and unexpectedly, the ordinary became something imaginative, something alive.
‎
‎That’s one of the things I love about shadows, they don’t just reflect reality but they reinterpret it. They give us the freedom to see differently,
‎ and to create stories where there were none. Even though, my kettle didn’t alter, but the way I saw it did. And in that moment, creativity took over.
‎
‎This week entry is more than just a shadow of a kettle on a wall, but it's a reminder that inspiration can come from the simplest things around us. And sometimes, all it takes is just a shift in perspectives and a little bit of light.
‎
‎So in lieu of this, I'm proudly submitting my creation for this week’s contest and proof that even the most ordinary object can cast an extraordinary story.
