Feeling Nature's Cool Breeze In A Scotchy Sun - Shadow Hunters SMASH Contest - Round #424

Hello everyone! How are you today? Trust all is going well with you. Welcome to another beautiful day and to my blog.

The weather is friendly on this beautiful Saturday, with the sun shining so bright. The perfect time for shadow hunt, hehehe. Sitting at the balcony, to observe nature and feel the freshness of the breeze regardless of the scotching sun. It's been a while since I had such an intentional interaction with nature due to busy schedule.

As I looked around I saw the shadow of the rails opposite me, printed on the floor more beautifully than the real image. I reached out for my phone, after all, that was the reason for my being there…to observe and capture shadows,lol.

Sometimes in a bid to search for things not within our reach, we tend to forget that what we're looking for is actually within us. Coming back to take my seat from capturing the first image, I noticed the shadow of the table beside the seat I was sitting on.

As at the time I settled to write this post, the sun was already setting. My kids were out for their usual evening play, around the compound. The voice of the youngest one, “eh look at my shadow, I'm very tall here”, 😀 caught my attention. Of course I don't have to miss it, at least to complete this post.
