Chasing Shadows On A Lazy Saturday - SMASH #422

Hello friends, happy weekend! I hope you're doing great today. The weekend is usually an exciting time to relax, reflect and plan ahead for the new week. Which I enjoy so much. I'm excited to be back again to participate in this round 422 SMASH contest. Welcome to my blog.

With not much work on the ground today but to rest, reflect and plan towards the week ahead, as I laid on my couch my eyes flashed on the reflection of the wall clock my daughter brought down to change the battery. I quickly got my phone to capture the image.

Then I thought of getting more images to participate in this present SMASH entry. Thankfully the sun is already out. I looked through the window and saw the shadow of the dried okra tree with no leaves on, resting on the wall like an art work waiting to be painted. I reached out to my phone and captured it.

Being that it's weekend, a lot of people like doing their laundry, moreso, to take advantage of the scotching sun. The weather has been hazy for the past few days, so today being sunny is the perfect time for such activity and for me to capture some shadows too, hahaha.

What seemed to be a lazy Saturday eventually turned out to be a kind of busy one. This was how my weekend went…chasing shadows.😀
