The Sky Learns - SMARP round 256

This is my entry for the SMARP 256 contest.

When I walked past this fountain, it was clear to me that this would be my entry.
A broken fountain in the middle of the street, surrounded by flowers.
The center of attention, standing at the apex.

The water is crystal clear, as if it might work again.
The weather is dull; the sky reflects itself.

In the water,
poles bend,
and the sky learns how to listen.
