When I saw this theme "Success Without Humanity" I paused because it hit me directly. We are living in a time where success is defined by money, car, big house, iPhone, and followers. Nobody asks how you got it. They just say "he don hammer."
I remember a man in my area, we call him Chairman. He used to be very humble, very friendly. When we were small, he would play ball with us, give us biscuits, greet everybody. Then he travelled, made money, became very rich. Now when he comes back, he cannot even roll down his car window to greet his old mother. He will pass his former friends as if he doesn't know them. He built big house but nobody in the street likes him anymore. Is that success? For me, that is not success, that is emptiness.
People forget that being human is what makes us different from animals...... Humanity is kindness, humility, respect, helping others, forgiving. When you remove those things and just have money, you are like a beautiful coffin. Fine outside but empty inside.
I have seen people insult their parents because they now have money. I have seen a woman who refused to help her sister with 10k for hospital bill, but she posted 200k birthday cake on Instagram. What is the value of that kind of success? You have money but you have lost your heart.
Some people say "na money make the world go round." Yes, money is important, we need it to survive. But if your success makes you lose empathy, then you have failed in a more important exam. What is the point of being successful if you cannot share your rice with your neighbour who is hungry? What is the point of famme if you cannot use your voicee to heelp sommeone who cannot speeak?
I believe true success must include humanity..... You can be rich and still be humble. You can be famous and still be kind. You can drive Benz and still stop to help someone whose car broke down. That is real success.
I am still hustling to succeed in life, but I pray I never lose my humanity on the way. I want to be the kind of successful person that when people mention my name, they will say "he get money and he get good heart."
So to answer the question, No. Success without humanity has no value. It is just noise without music. If you must step on people to climb up, you will stay lonely at the top.
What do you thinkkkk??? Is success worth it without humanity?
