The world will definitely be a better place for everyone, Especially the average Nigeria. Greetings beautiful souls, it a pleasure to be here again with you all, thank you for the love and support you have always shown me. When I saw this week's prompt, I just smiled and wished it shouldn't just be an imagination, but then it is what it is. So for the record, the theme says, what if money expires?
Money is one thing that no human on this planet Earth doesn't use; money is power. How many people are in power now that they got there through merit? Out of a hundred, only ten percent are in power that they actually got it through merit; the rest, I will boldly say, got it by connections, and what I mean by connections, I mean money. Something happened, I think about two years ago or so;
I can't really recall the exact year, forgive me for that. So back to the story, it was announced in my country that the will be change of the currency. That means the money will expire right? Guess what happened at that period? Hmmm, I don't know for other states, but in my state, things became cheap, especially foodstuffs; people were selling things at a very cheap rate; people who had much money were trying to buy goods and keep them so the money didn't get expired in their hands, and the ones with the goods also were selling fast and cheap so that the money didn't also expire in their hands.
At that moment, I realized that if money could continue expiring like this, the world would be a better place. And do you know that people who were unable to get something to buy with their money were throwing it away? Yes, people were picking money from the ground. And again, if money could expire, then all these politicians won't be able to steal money the way they are doing.
I mean, most of these politicians have a warehouse full of money or an underground space in there homes just for keeping money because the money is kind of too much for the bank, and they are running away from unnecessary questions from the EFCC. So in my opinion, if money could expire, then the world would be a better place to live, even though I know that some wicked and greedy people will still look for a way to steal money, but it won't be as bad as it is now.
These are but a few points that I can come up with. Thank you very much for stopping by. See you next time.
Ahahhaahahah i can recall this story.
