What if money have an expiry date ?!

Money is the most important thing for us, and for the sake of earning money, we are making efforts as well as working hard on a continuous basis. Making money is not so easy, and we need to pay a price for it. We need to sacrifice many things for the sake of earning money, especially our comforts. We think that the money we earn can help us to enjoy a comfortable life later. Unfortunately, most people don't get the opportunity to enjoy their life how they want to from the beginning. What if money had an expiry date, and after the expiry date, the money will not be usable? What will happen? Will anything change?

I think that we usually think about food-related things when it comes to expiry date. After the expiry date foods are not allowed to eat and for that reason, we don’t usually buy any food if the expiry date is little or we try to finish that food before the expiry date because after that the food will be harmful for us. On the same way money may not be harmful, but it will be useless to us if there is an expiry date for money. So, it will be natural for people to choose a way what should be good for them.

There can be two possible scenarios in such a situation from normal perspective. The first one is that People will stop working too much because they will know that their money will be useless after the expiry the day. Why will they work for such a thing that will be useless after a certain time. It may help people not too be obsessed with money and give time to family members and do something they like to do.

Their second scenario will like they will make money as they are doing right now. But because of expiry date, they will try to spend all of their money before their money meets to expiry date. At the beginning they spend time with cautious, but when the day gets close to the expiry date, they will start to spend it extravagantly. I think the Internet data pack can be a good example for it. At the beginning people try to save internet data but in the end time they spend it recklessly, and somehow, they just try to end their data pack before it becomes null.

Keeping aside the two mentioned scenarios, I think that some smart people will go for another way. I think even if money has an expiry date, they can use the money to buy some assets that don’t have any expiry date. I think they can go into the real estate business. In fact, many people will try to invest in such a scenario and will dare to take the risk of investment as money will lose its value after the expiry date. Such a thing can bring economic development in a country. Again, there will be some people who prefer to buy gold and silver for long-term holding. To be honest, there is no exact answer to what will happen if money has an expiry date. I just shared some possibilities that can come in such a situation.
