People expect help for helping in return

We are humans, and we are known as the best creatures on the earth. No doubt we are quite capable and intelligent. Instead of it, sometimes we need the help of others, and for this reason, we humans need to depend on others. It does not matter how powerful we are, sometimes at some point of life we need to become helpless because of the situation. In such a situation we can ask for the help of others, but most of us hesitate, asking how in this present world was supposed to be easy in the past? Why do people now hesitate and think too much before asking for help?

Suppose I am facing any difficulties in my life, and if I don’t share them with others, there is no way others can understand my difficulties and offer a helping hand. In most cases, it is necessary to speak and ask for help because people can’t read our minds. If I face difficulties, I can ask for help, which may help me to overcome difficulties, and again, there can be another way. We may suffer more, but with time, we can deal with most of our problems, and the difference is that we need to suffer more, which could be much easier if we asked for help.

I think the thoughts of people are not the same as in earlier days. In the earlier days, people used to be simple, and their thoughts were simple. So, a simple person didn’t hesitate to ask for help. But now people are quite complicated and not so simple as in the past days. Now people are quite selfish, and they always want something in return. In the past days people used to offer help genuinely, but now people always expect something in return for help, and it’s something that makes people worry.

I think it’s natural to expect help in return from the same person we help if we face trouble. But in that case, the person should be capable enough to offer a helping hand, as help should be done when one is capable enough to help. We can’t expect help from a person if the person faces any problems in helping, even if we helped the person in the past. But still, I feel that it’s good not to expect anything for help if possible.

It’s unfortunate that in the present time people expect many things in return and they take it for granted, and such kinds of expectations can bring a burden to the person who receives help. And I think that kind of mentality of people restricting people from asking for help.
