ISSUES IN THE MIND

It's another beautiful week and I am, super excited about the topic for this week which is a question"what is in your mind "?
I see a lot of things happening in my environment and even in the society that I wish to speak about but most times I decide to keep quiet because I don't want to offend people by hurting their feelings and at other times, I keep quiet because I am not sure whether those concern will want to listen.
Today, I am grateful for this topic. It is an opportunity for me to speak about some of the things that are happening which I am not satisfied with.
First of all I will like to talk about the evil that goes on in the world. People are no longer conscious about God. Wickedness has become the order of the day and evil is on the increase. People no longer love and care genuinely about one another. Everyone is concern about his or her own interest and what he or she stands to gain. There is no longer a sense of community, gone are the days where neighbours live together as family sharing one another's joy and pain, bearing one another's burden.
We live in a day and time where your own brother is against you, your neighbor plan your downfall, your friends plan to kill you and the list goes on.
Another thing I want to talk about is the rate at which people especially the youth are eager to make it fast. They want to make quick money not minding whether it is from a legitimate source or not. This attitude has lead many to destruction and to an early grave. No wonder the Bible says that the love of money is the root of all evil. As much as we desire to make money, let's also desire to make it the right way.
Another area I want to talk about is on the issue of borrowing money and buying things on credit. People borrow money or buy things on credit giving the assurance that they will pay back but most times they don't get to pay at the expected time while others don't pay at all. This type of attitude has destroyed a lot of businesses and relationships. Personally, I have had such experience and I must say that it is never a pleasant one. You borrow people money out of trust and when it's time to repay they make issues out of it.
I urge everyone to make it a duty to pay for any item bought on credit and to also refund borrowed money. Doing so, shows integrity and strengthens trust. It will also encourage people to give to those that will want to borrow on future.
I can go on and on about the issues in my mind that I want to share but let me stop here. Thank you.
