Is Success Valuable If It Costs Our Humanity....?

This question is deep. Is success really success if you have to lose your humanity to get it?

Nowadays, we define success in a wrong way. If person get money, get big car, build house, get many followers for Instagram, we call him successful. No one asks how he made the money. No one cares if he hurt people on the way. As long as money dey, he is chairman.

But make we think am well. What is success without humanity? Humanity na kindness, empathy, humility, respect....To help people even when you have small. When you remove those things from success, what you have left is just empty package. Fine outside but nothing inside.

Look around. In offices, people will backstab their own friend just to collect promotion. For market, some traders will add chemical to food just to make extra gain. For internet, some people dey scam others just to show big life. At the end of the day, they get the money but they lose something more important — trust, peace of mind, good name.......People may fear them but nobody truly loves them.

If yoou are rich but you cannot greeet your gateeman, if you are fammous but you cannoot hellp the cleanner in your officee, is that reaally success?? I don't think so.

The truth be say, money without humanity cannot last. When that rich wicked man falls sick, nobody go visit am because he never helped anybody. But a person wey get good heart, even if he no get plenty money, people will surround him, people will pray for him. Because humanity brings respect wey money no fit buy.

Real success should come with humanity. You fit be rich and still humble. You fit be big man and still kind. You fit drive Benz and still stop to help person wey motor spoil for road. That na the kind success wey get meaning.

If to succeed, you must lie, cheat, insult your parents, abandon your friends, then that success get no value. E be like food wey get no salt. E look fine but e no sweet for mouth.

This world no need more rich people wey no get heart. We need successful people wey get good heart, people wey go use their money and power to lift others up.

So for me, the answer clear. Success without humanity is useless. Na failure wey wear fine cloth. True success na when you achieve something and still remain human.
