RE: A Day in My Life: Chasing Dreams, Taking Chances, and Rewarding Myself!

The extra hours that teachers work at home—whether grading exams or planning upcoming lessons—should be recognized. Here in Venezuela, unfortunately, it is the lowest-paid profession, which forces teachers to sell sweets, bake cakes to order, or take on whatever odd jobs they can find just to survive.

I felt so sad reading about the situation of teachers there, but as you know, we also consider it the lowest-paid profession here in the Philippines. Teachers are always in survival mode; I hope that our government will definitely consider the workloads and sacrifices of all the teachers and give them a better and higher salary,

Hopefully that will happen, and their commendable work will be accorded the dignity it deserves—at the very least, through a fair salary.

Luxembourg is the country where teachers receive the highest salaries in the world, with starting pay approaching $100,000 per year and top-tier salaries exceeding $170,000
