You said the last time the car issues happened, that it was two years ago, does that mean you've possibly owned the car for close to 3 or 4 years?

The car is from 2008 and I bought it once the previous owner finish its leasing (5 years), thus I bought it in 2013. That means I have it for almost 13 years and it was and still is such a joy to drive. But these problems really wake me up to the reality that I need a new/newer car (I will opt'in for EV). But not 100% decided and in a good financial spot, thus this is why I am still going with it. 😊
I think buying a new car would require some savings and planning, but if you've used this for 13 years, I think it has actually served its purposes and has done really well for you.
