I think a lot of people aren't currently engaging because they probably feel that it's not worth their time, but it's literally the only way to announce yourself to others and establish a solid relationship, I think some other people don't know how to do it either, and they don't bother to refine the skills that they need to do it better

It is true, but while we can only encourage others to do it, we can simply continue ourselves. And maybe in the end other will follow such practices as well.
