I can't imagine how scary that was to get that original diagnoses. I'll be thinking about you my friend—positive thoughts! Sometimes medical staff can be a bit callous or blasé in these kinds of situations. I don't think it's out of malice but because they deal with it every day.

You know the funny thing is way back then it happened so fast that we really didn't know. I went from having an infection to having a "seminoma". I remember we actually had to ask the doctor if it was cancer because he never actually said the word. Then two days later it was out and I was on my way to recovery. I remember I had it removed on Friday and I was back to work on Monday. It was crazy.
That sounds like a whirlwind. I wonder if they approach things that way so people don't worry too much? Withholding some info at certain times might be a blessing of sorts sometimes.
