I like to remind people of the saying, "The exception proves the rule."
If we're hearing about fringe cases of this happening, logic would tell us that's in the minority. Not to say we shouldn't do our own due diligence as parents, but assuming the worst first from those we're entrusting to teach our kids is starting off badly.

Unfortunately, there are certain factions that don't make it easier to do all of that.
Yeah, it's sad when people automatically assume the worst and act on impulse rather than taking a step back to think things through before speaking or acting. 🙁
