Michigan is a magical place for sure. Underrated like I tell everyone. There are so many aspects of it that are elite! The Great Lakes for sure but then all these other various lakes up there and the fact that the land is so productive and the lakes moderate the temperature to where fruit trees and grapes do better through the winter since it usually doesn't get these brutal -5 temps that can mess things up down here further from the lakes.

Oh, we still get those -20 windchill days, but they aren't as consistent as other places.
Those would be brutal coming off the lake. I always know here when my nose hairs freeze and the rivers freeze that it's legit cold.
