Joy was going through a lot of challenges which includes financial and mental. She has been running from one pole to another in search of solutions to her problem but amidst all her problems, she was able to create peace for herself.
In a world filled with chaos every day having peace is the last thing that comes into one's mind and that is why even though it is as different as it seems, it is advisable we create peace for ourselves.
Creating peace for ourselves is the only way we can have growth, love, confidence, boldness, and pride in ourselves. It takes one who is conscious about creating peace for themselves to be able to have such attributes.
It is important that we create peace for ourselves because things can be achieved when we are in a peaceful environment.
We wake up each day in search of peace either by getting more wealth or material things or perhaps doing a hobby that will give us that peace we deserve. We want to create that inner peace we wake up searching for every day by doing anything that we can lay our hands on just to have such even when we are facing a lot of challenges and difficulties.
We can only create peace for ourselves and not for anyone because it is inner peace and no one can create an inner face for us as much as we can create for ourselves because we are the custodian of our own peace. We create our own peace for ourselves and no one does for us.
Amidst the pains, amidst the hurt, amidst the challenges and tribulations, we are going through, amidst the broken dreams, it is important that we always take conscious steps to create peace for ourselves.
Having peace isn't in the academic achievement or title, it isn't in the numerous material things we were able to possess with our money, having and creating peace which is inner peace is about being satisfied with what we currently have no matter how little it is.
I read an article titled Mindfulness and Contentment by @clayboyn where he talked about having that inner peace after a long time.
With mindfulness it becomes much more manageable to break down these flawed beliefs and get to the root of them. I've been depressed before and I'm intimately familiar with that numbness that I'd associate with feeling nothing and having no desire to do anything. I haven't truly felt that in quite some time, but interestingly enough, contentment is a feeling I'm not used to acknowledging.
When one has no peace, they will never have the desire to do anything, they will always look forward to something that will fill up that void or space they are filling in their heart.
The funniest part is when you realize you've got it and had it and never even took the time to recognize it. Life be like that I suppose.
Yeah, you are right. We all have the peace within us, stored somewhere far away because we are always going through challenges but the day we decide to breathe even in such a situation we realize we have peace embedded in us.
Thank you for visiting me.
