Hello, my wonderful people of hive, I feel so thrilled sharing my wonderful experience about cycling. It has been about eight years since I last cycled and today I decided to dust off by bicycle and cycle around my community to have fun and explore my immediate surroundings. Funny enough I almost forgot how to ride my bicycle but my sister put me through and I was able to ride it with ease.
Cycling is indeed fun, I could feel the gentle breeze on my hair, the early morning sun was so warm and nice. I noticed the beauty of my surroundings in a way I have never seen before, I meet so many people on my way, and everywhere seemed so great.
I actually started the ride just to have fun but after riding I benefitted a lot aside the fun aspect, as I continued riding I felt relieved, my heart rate began to pump faster, I started sweating and I could feel the great impacts on my legs while moving the pedals, I suddenly realized that cycling was not only fun but an exercise and an excellent way to improve my health and wellbeing.
Actually when I was quite younger I learnt how to ride a bicycle from my dad and I did it for fun, I also knew cycling to be a great means of transportation from one place to another, I remember in those days I do ride the bicycle to the market to buy foodstuffs for my mum I also used it to fetch water from the stream and run errands I never really understood the other benefits of cycling but I had a deeper understanding after my adventure today.
After riding all round my immediate surrounding I decided to head back home, I felt accomplished for the day, I felt joy and happiness beaming from within just like my childhood days. To be frank I was actually very tired because I have not cycled for a long time, I felt pains on my lower back and joints but I feel better despite the minor pains.
So friends I have made up my mind to make cycling my every weekend routine not just for fun but for my health and wellbeing. I read a cycling book and I discovered that cycling over time helps to burn the fats in our stomach and off course I want to have and maintain a flat stomach.
It is incredible to know that just cycling can cure several bad health condition, if you are obese you do not need to take any drugs just cycling is enough to help out. You can cycle as a remedy for the flat stomach you need, research has also proven that cycling helps to reduce the risk of breast cancer which is prevalent in our society today, just make cycling your hobby and breast cancer will be far from you.
Nevertheless, cycling helps in strengthening the joints and muscles of the body, my grandma uses hot balm for her joint every night, how I wish she could be strong enough to ride I will gladly put her through to alleviate the pains she is bearing.
So friends, I am a living testimony of the benefits of cycling, you do not need to take too much drugs just cycle regularly and you will be physically fit and sound.
