When you talk about 51 km, that’s there and back, isn’t it?
Haha, perfect timing for a winning rabbit to appear! I really enjoy reading your posts too. It seems you spend a good while writing them and you do it with such enthusiasm. More than the enthusiasm with which you wash the bike after covering it in mud… haha…
Five bikes? But I only ever see you using the blue one. Judging by the last photo in this post, that bike really is brand new, and it must be your daughter’s. 😁
My glasses are photochromic as well, and they cost me 10 USD, LOL. The same thing happened to me—I didn’t believe they’d actually work. I’ve scratched them a bit on the right side because I press the camera viewfinder there, and the viewfinder lost a piece ages ago, haha… so it’s missing the rubber cover.
Ever since I fitted this chain—the day the previous one snapped halfway through—I’ve needed to remove a link. I’ll have to take it to a workshop for that, because I really don’t know how to do it myself, but with the right tools it should be straightforward.
Today I put my glasses properly over the helmet straps.😀
I’m writing this reply at 1 am, because that’s the only time I managed to get some connection in the kitchen.
Thank you! Have a lovely week with your family.

😃 Hi... thanks!
1AM??? omg I might be going to the toilet by then but I'm asleep for about three hours already 😂
The 51km is total from home back at home, in the summer I will do bigger rides again but not with these temperatures.
We Dutch people also do a lot on our bikes, so we all have one (family of four) normal bike, plus my MTB makes 5 and indeed, the 6th is for my daughter, it's TWELVE years old but really looks very well! The only thing that's not so good is the front suspension so I will see what it will cost to get this fixed and if it's expensive I might do it myself.
I really do enjoy making posts even if they don't get rewarded, I just like rambling on - in real life I'm not much of a talker so that's kinda strange lol.
You’ve got quite a large family of bicycles there—you’ll have to introduce us to them all. After all, they’re part of this cycling family too. Haha… and from what I gather in the first part of your reply, you write while you’re asleep, in dreams… just kidding.
I was also surprised by how much they pay for the cans—I forgot to mention it. It feels as if you’re on a treasure hunt, for surely there are not many cans scattered here and there. Everything here is so dirty… it’s something I really can’t stand, one of the many reasons why I’d like to live somewhere else.
After so much silence, you feel the need to let your tongue loose—even if only through writing… haha… it’s really good, you know?
