The day dawned sunny, perfect for a cycling trip, I was eager to catch my transport, when i get close, I noticed that in addition to the visible dirt, there was a strange noise when cycling, my day of tour became a moment of maintenance for my walking companion .
I rarely take my bike to a specialized place, I usually go quickly to rustic workshops, it's my mistake, I know, I'm often reckless, the laziness of waiting is one of the factors that prevent me from ensuring frequent maintenance.
When I arrived at the local bike shop, I requested a general inspection, there was dust, dirt and debris in several areas of the bike. The inspection was time-consuming and in addition to basic maintenance, new parts would be needed. I authorized it, sat on a chair and began to wait.
A piece of advice for everyone is not to take your travel companion to just any location, give preference to specialized locations, there is a guarantee of using quality products. My bike is filthy, all parts were cleaned, specific areas were lubricated, the tires were calibrated, two teeth had to be removed from the chain, parts were replaced and the brakes and other necessary areas were adjusted. A true bath of beauty.
The recommendation is a general inspection every 6 months for those who walk moderately or after traveling between 200 and 300 km, to make the most of its potential. In my case, I had an extra expense, I needed to change some parts due to my negligence.
Our bicycle should be considered an extension of our body, if you like being healthy, she will like it too. One cool thing is finding your soulmate, that is, the ideal bike, I confess, it's not easy, but there will always be one that will stick out and will be perfect for your life and your outings. By the way, when the beauty treatment ended I was thrilled, I felt sorry to even touch it, it was beautiful and super clean, it looked new. I swear to you, I wanted to carry it on my back so it wouldn't get dirty. Anyway, let's pedal!

Hoje é um dia especial para minha bicicleta, é dia do seu salão de beleza. O dia amanheceu ensolarado, perfeito para um passeio de bicicleta, estava ansioso para pegar meu transporte, ao chegar perto, notei que além da sujeira visível, havia um barulho estranho ao pedalar, meu dia de passeio se tornou um momento de manutenção para minha companheira de caminhada.
Raramente levo a bicicleta a um local especializado, costumo passar rapidamente pelas oficinas rústicas, o erro é meu, eu sei, muitas vezes sou imprudente, a preguiça de esperar é um dos fatores que me impedem de garantir manutenções frequentes.
Quando cheguei à loja de bicicletas local, solicitei uma inspeção geral, havia poeira, sujeira e detritos em diversas áreas da bicicleta. A inspeção foi demorada e, além da manutenção básica, seria necessário peças novas. Autorizei, sentei numa cadeira e comecei a esperar.
Um conselho para todos é não levar o companheiro de viagem para qualquer local, dê preferência a locais especializados, há garantia de utilização de produtos de qualidade. Minha bicicleta está imunda, todas as peças foram limpas, áreas específicas foram lubrificadas, os pneus foram calibrados, dois dentes tiveram que ser retirados da corrente, peças foram substituídas e os freios e demais áreas necessárias foram ajustados. Um verdadeiro banho de beleza.

You can do the cleaning and lubrication of the chain yourself if you want. It is quite easy to do and can save you money.

Thanks for the suggestion, I just read it, it's a very interesting post. I avoid lubricating it sometimes, because I walk on a lot of clay and sand roads, it gets terrible. I don't always have time to clean up when I arrive.
Muito bom! É isso ai, tem que enviar a magrela pra manutenção, especialmente se pegar chuva demasiada. Se vc roda muito até vale a pena aprender a fuçar em casa mesmo.
Rapaz, a manutenção é em outra cidade, tenso demais levar e esperar. Acabo demorando e tomo um prejuízo igual ao de ontem. Na minha cidade só tem aquelas oficinas populares, eu levo, mas sei que mal fazem alguma coisa.
Pode crer, muita coisa de manutenção básica da pra fazer em casa com algumas ferramentas específicas, porém não muito caras.
Eu faço algumas manutenções em casa, mas ando em muita estrada de barro e areia, deteriora as peças rapidamente.
