My New Chapter: Ignoring the Noise and Embracing Myself

So for a while now, I have been feeling a little tired of everything and just frustrated and thinking about a lot of things but now I think I am ready to make some change to that and start afresh, Yeah, I am so done listening to what others have to say, and I am now focusing on my own life.

So yesterday, my cousin asked me a simple question, she said Sis,”Do you care about what people say about you?" I looked at her first and then my reply was straightforward, "No…. I definitely don't care who you are. I won't listen,so far you have nothing that I can take from and I am glad to be who I am today."

So for too long I have actually been worried about what others think. I have tried to please everyone, to make them happy. But I have realized that it is impossible and that one cannot please everyone, and even if you try, they will still find fault in whatever you do.

So, I have decided to just focus on myself. I will do what makes me happy as a person , no matter what it is, so far it what fulfills me. I don't want to have to worry about what others think. I will just be myself, no matter what.

So yeah, when you worry about what others think, you just give them the power over you, like You just let them dictate

how you feel, think, and behave, and all manner of stuff, But when you ignore them, you take back your power….

You then start to focus on yourself, your goals, and aspirations and then you do what makes you happy, what makes you feel you are alive. And that brings you joy and fulfillment.

I have realized I am unique and a special person and unlike anyone else, and that does makes me proud. I will not try to be someone else, yeah I will be myself.

I will celebrate my strengths and weaknesses, my successes and failures. I will be kind to myself, gentle with myself.

This is my new chapter. I will focus on myself, do what makes me happy, and ignore the noise that wants to buzz around. I will just be myself, no matter what.

So let us just say I am proud of myself, my accomplishments, and the ones I am yet to accomplish and who I am. I won't let anyone bring me down or make me feel bad about myself , yeah I wont

I will keep being myself, shining my light. And I hope you will too.
